Don't worry the uniforms are provided! POSITION SUMMARY: The Base Services department is currently accepting applications for a part-time seasonal Grounds Laborer Wagon Master to begin in November. The responsibilities of this position include snow removal in wagons, general fleet maintenance of the wagons, hauling wagons, assisting guests in a friendly, helpful manner, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work a flexible 3-4 day per week schedule and work extra hours during busy periods, dependent on demand. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: General Responsibilities: Snow removal by hand or snow blower around decks, stairs, roofs, and walkways. Spread ice melt and sand on icy areas Dig out signs, ski racks, trash cans, benches, and other objects Report safety hazards to appropriate individuals Report on time when called in for work Be able to fulfill the commitment for the entire winter season Ability to get to Resort by 2 am for shift (requires personal transportation) Must be available a minimum of 3 on-call shifts per week Other Duties: Responds to emergencies including fire, building evacuation, vehicle, and pedestrian accidents, flooding, lift failure, and accident evacuation. Assists Security, municipal police and fire departments, and other protective service agencies as necessary. Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of all contract work performed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Colorado Driver’s License & with an acceptable driving record. Experience working with high-volume public situations Be in good physical condition Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting Withstand sub-zero temperatures EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Experience with snow blowers is beneficial WAGE: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts' hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
