The Role...

The Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect will be responsible for the strategic design, development, and implementation of solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform. This position will play a pivotal role in elevating productivity, collaboration, and operational efficiency by working closely with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly solutions that are scalable and align with business/organization evolving needs while driving successful adoption. The Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect will be at the forefront of designing, customizing, and implementing dynamic solutions across SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, Yammer, and other integral Microsoft 365 components.

The Essential Job Functions..

• Architect, design, and plan M365 migrations (tenant-to-tenant) including test and remediation plans and work closely with teams and vendors to facilitate successful migrations and wide-scale overhaul while minimizing end-user disruption.
• Lead the design and implementation including planning, and deployment of Microsoft 365 collaboration and application solutions. Ensure proper integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users, promoting the effective use of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. Drive user adoption and change management strategies to ensure maximum utilization of the platform's features and capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal business teams to understand their collaboration requirements and translate them into effective Microsoft 365 solutions. Advise and develop solutions, workflows, and best practices to address common business challenges within our workforce
• Identifies potential points of integration between M365 services on the core device-top and works with technical colleagues to deliver key integrations.
• Design and implement automated workflows using tools like SharePoint Designer and Power Automate, ensuring seamless and efficient processes.
• Facilitates the development of custom web parts, extensions, and add-ins using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and other appropriate technologies, expanding the functionality of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding guidelines, and user manuals, to guide the smooth implementation and maintenance of solutions.
• Work closely with Security team to establish governance policies, security controls, and compliance standards for Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. Monitor and enforce these policies to maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing issues related to Microsoft 365 tools and solutions. Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex problems.
• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, features, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance collaboration capabilities.
• Ensures vendors provide proper levels of support, maintain SLA’s, and provide root cause analysis for escalated issues.
• Ensures all team, departmental and firm policies and procedures are adhered to, including technical change management and service continuity.

• Deep understanding and extensive knowledge of the functionality, interdependencies and infrastructure of the Microsoft 365 family of products including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Power Platform
• Proven expertise in security and compliance related to Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies
• In-depth experience of business process analysis
• Working knowledge of Azure AD and familiarity with scripting languages
• Ability to collaborate with key technical staff to design solutions that meet business requirements
• Ability to manage all aspects and phases of solution delivery, including discovery, design, implementation/execution, support, and maintenance
• Proficiency in web technologies such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agent.
• Skilled in SharePoint, SPFx, Teams App development, Graph API, Governance, Administration, and SharePoint migration.
• Familiarity with Angular JS, .Net, BOT Framework, REST API, Azure DevOps, and Voltage.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Expert analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to provide root cause analysis and demonstrate results through testing and metrics.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

• Prior administration experience of M365 is required, especially focused on SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams, and Power Platform, as well as guiding their use within an organization
• Proven solutions delivery and architecture experience with Microsoft 365 products
• M365 migration experience (discovery, design, implementation/execution, support, and maintenance).
• Experience within client-facing professional services or consulting
• Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals as well as development teams and subject matter experts
• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance considerations in the context of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and/or relevant M365 certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-700, MS-600)
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and managing projects, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale technical projects, including organization, planning, implementation, and execution.
• Prior administration experience of M365 is required, especially focused on SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams, and Power Platform, as well as guiding their use within an organization
• Proven solutions delivery and architecture experience with Microsoft 365 products
• M365 migration experience (discovery, design, implementation/execution, support, and maintenance).
• Experience within client-facing professional services or consulting
• Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals as well as development teams and subject matter experts
• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance considerations in the context of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and/or relevant M365 certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-700, MS-600)
