Release Sr. Lead (Nintendo)
Role Overview
Nintendo release expert, who will partner with 1st Party Partnerships to manage relationships with Nintendo. Working in the Vegas office and reporting to the Senior Release Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with 1st Party Partnerships regarding relationship management
- Drive conversations with Nintendo on urgent deadlines and emergencies
- Train team members on submissions practices, processes, and procedures along with the intricacies of Nintendo Portal.
- Learn and be internal SME for all processes / procedures committed to submissions
- Own improvement of submissions practices, processes, and procedures
- Keep abreast of all requirement changes and communicate to internal teams
- Builds Confluence pages regarding Nintendo submissions
- Coordinate daily with Release Managers and Leads on upcoming projects submissions
- Audit and complete submissions
- Build and lead help tickets primarily via the First Party Portals (NDP, NCMS, Forums, Message Boards, ServiceNow)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to create and configure game, bundles and production to storefront portals
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, internally & externally
- Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process
- Minimum of 2 years of work involved with Submissions
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual, flexibility to work unsociable hours depending on deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware
- Basic knowledge of how games are sold - editions, season passes, micro transactions
- Ability to collaborate closely with 1st Party in a very thoughtful manner
- Ability to collaborate closely with other departments
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent minimum
- Excellent organization and time management skill with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and the flexibility to support an environment where details can change quickly
- Strong leadership skills
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills, and management skills
- Reliable with the ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and positive personality to champion excellent working relationships
