What we need:
A Lead Engineer at 31st Union is no stranger to conquering the technical and tactical challenges that come with delivering a complex project. You will manage, support and mentor our multidisciplinary engineering team. Our Valencia studio is looking for a Lead Engineer to contribute on an exciting unannounced project that will thrill millions of players around the world.
- Extensive professional experience in software engineering
- Strong 3d math and C/C skills are required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Console and AAA game development experience is strongly desired
- Shipping Game experience is desired
- Production Unreal Engine experience is desired
- Technical leadership experience is desired
Who you are:
You are an seasoned software engineer with game experience who enjoys solving challenging problems presented by multiplatform AAA games in a collaborative and creative work environment. You understand, balance, explain and negotiate tradeoffs in fidelity, performance and workflow. You are quick to identify and leverage existing research, tools and technologies to accelerate feature implementation. You reinforce best practices, have the ability to mentor and well-represent the interests and priorities of the engineering team.
