What You’ll Do
- Accountable for 1st Party Release Submissions and Certification Compliance QA on all of the company’s console titles
- Supervision of international team built of Managers, Associate Managers, Certification Leads, and Certification testers
- Creates and owns team goals that align with and connect to larger 2K business plan
- Liaison with Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony to improve relationships and ensure compliance
- Tracks team progress and creates process / roadmaps to increase effectiveness
- Supports VP of QA as needed
- Manage department through day-to-day business
- Quarterly performance reviews of direct reports
- Sets and monitors team headcount and budget
- Build successful working relationships with Worldwide Development Studios Internal & External, QA Department locally & globally, Local Producers, Platform Holders, Producers, and Developers, and Third Party Developers Internal & External
What We Need
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, internally & externally.
- Management skills to include: successfully handling ambiguity, flexibility & understanding of the development process, and maintain good relations with producers & developers.
- Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process.
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of management experience
- Knowledge of format holder standards (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual, flexibility to work unsociable hours depending on deadlines.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite, Source Control and Visual Studio.
- Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware.
- Ability to liaise with other departments.
