U.S. Bank is expanding the User Experience Researcher team in support of our business transformation to a human centric experience. This is no “business as usual” group. U.S. Bank is hiring a UX Research Operations professional to lead the creation of highly efficient and effective processes with established measurements that yield high-quality results to scale. This position can be located in San Francisco-CA, Minneapolis-MN, Chicago-IL, New York-NY, , Atlanta-GA, Charlotte-NC, Irving-TX, or Cincinnati-OH and does not offer relocation assistance. Primary Responsibilities include: Optimize the research ecosystem to assess existing process and procedures and perform ongoing monitoring to organize new opportunities (E.g. Documentation, templates, websites, tracking logs, playbook, and more). Lead strategic discussions and manage relationships related to resources, tools, platforms with cross functional internal and external partners to increase efficiencies and scale research (E.g. Recruiting, Marketing, CX, Compliance, Procurement and other vendors). Develop new programs and resources for knowledge management and cross sharing to enable and educate researchers and evangelize the value of user research throughout the organization. (E.g. Best practices, methods, projects, tool and technology, onboarding, democratization). Manage governance of research processes and guidelines and work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure they are practiced and maintained regularly, refine existing and create new processes to address gaps and barriers (E.g. Consent forms, storage repository, process guides, recruitment). Other areas of responsibility Anticipate bottlenecks and help drive research team deliverables by removing obstacles. Identify needs with regards to process, tools, documentation driving required changes. Manage customer research communities through engagement and growth initiatives. Collaborate with partners teams to evangelize the value of research. Mentor UX members to improve their UX research knowledge and understanding Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on UX design research, psychology, Human Computer Interaction, social science or another relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience - Eight or more years of UX design research experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Demonstrates strategic analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills - Expert understanding of how to conduct, manage, and deliver UX design research work - Very familiar with a variety of research methodologies, when to apply them, and when to make tradeoffs - Previous experience delivering impactful and clear research in a way that drove and directed better product/project outcomes - Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to facilitate collaborative sessions - Experience with agile project management and how UX research functions within it U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. #INDJC #LI-Hybrid If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Salary : $139,995 - $164,700
