Job Description U.S. Bank Enterprise Procurement is transforming the way the bank buys, manages and optimizes third party goods and services through advanced analytics and adoption of cloud-based Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems. We are looking for an experienced, independent, collaborative individual to help U.S. Bank leverage sourcing technology to drive continuous improvement in expenditure reporting, spend and vendor analysis, process, and user experience. In this role you will: - Ensure systems support timely, transparent and repeatable reporting and analysis to both Procurement and enterprise stakeholders - Drive creation and enhancement of enterprise and bespoke Business Line (BL) reporting. Help BLs understand their expenditures and what drives them. - Support ongoing integration strategy, as well as implementation execution and ongoing management, for existing and new procurement systems to drive the bank towards best-in-class procurement performance - Partner with Procurement and internal client teams to drive adoption of tools and services - In collaboration with process owners, manage ongoing development, enhancement and improvement of systems, procedures, workflows, processes; understand and mitigate negative impacts of future releases - Manage ongoing configuration and adjustments as needed - Demonstrate empathy for and find solutions for end users - Support relationships with procurement technology and supplier partners - Research, identify, pilot and onboard emerging tools and services to improve procurement impact - In partnership with teams serving internal clients, act as an ambassador for U.S. Bank Enterprise Procurement, and the tools and services it offers Requirements - Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures - Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills - Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five or more years of related experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Experience in ongoing management of procurement or ERP systems preferred - Five or more years’ experience in procurement or procurement-related environments preferred - Master's degree preferred - Ability to work independently in a matrixed, federated environment This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
