Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Provides a variety of bookkeeping and accounting functions for our Michigan companies

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Performs bookkeeping and inventory functions
• Performs monthly bank reconciliations for multiple companies
• Performs clerical and other related duties
• Maintains books and records to satisfy CRA and GAAP requirements
• Communicates on a daily basis with sister companies’ accounting departments
• Maintains accounting software records up to date in real time for multiple companies
• Provides AR Reporting on a weekly basis from ERP System

Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience using accounting systems required
• MS Office / Excel experience required
• Inventory experience preferred
• AR work experience preferred
• Good communication skills

Education/Training:

• Accounting degree or professional experience required
• 1-2 years of accounting work experience preferred
