Job Title: Senior PHP Engineer

Location: Brooklyn, NYC (Onsite) Hybrid

We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Engineers to join our dynamic team onsite at Brooklyn office. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and take part in the entire software development life cycle, from ideation to deployment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality PHP applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and design solutions.

Lead technical discussions, propose innovative solutions, and make architectural decisions.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering their growth.

Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, identify issues, and ensure adherence to coding guidelines.

Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.

Participate in the testing and debugging of applications to ensure seamless functionality.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to PHP development.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (at least 6-8 years) working as a PHP developer in a professional environment.

Strong proficiency in PHP and its frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).

In-depth understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Familiarity with software testing methodologies and experience writing unit tests.

Ability to lead and guide a team of developers effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
