About the Role The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and testing embedded software for Aria Health products. Some of the tasks you’ll be performing include: Develop embedded software using C, C and other languages where appropriate Develop and perform manual and automatic software testing and validation procedures Track and record firmware development history through use of version control and bug-tracking software Self-motivated and independently capable, but able to work in a collaborative team environment Work within the Aria Health quality system and stay abreast of evolving regulations/quality standards Let's talk about Required Skills and Experience: Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related University degree Demonstrated expertise and competence with programming in mainstream languages, particularly C, C and Python (essential) 3 years of experience with embedded software systems such as ARM, AVR etc. Experience writing automated software test systems Familiarity with software development, version control and configuration management tools supporting design, automation and quality assurance (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SVN etc.) Ability to work proactively while adhering to schedules in a fast-paced environment.
