Job Summary:
As an event staffer, you'll be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. Your primary goal is to ensure that events run smoothly and efficiently, leaving a positive impression on attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Breakdown: Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and signage. After the event, participate in breakdown activities to return the venue to its original state.
Guest Services: Greet guests, provide directions, and answer inquiries throughout the event. Ensure guests' needs are met promptly and professionally.
Assistance During Event: Provide support during the event, which may include managing POS system, serving food & beverages, distributing materials, guiding attendees, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other event staff members, including planners, coordinators, and technicians, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout the event.
Post-Event Cleanup and Evaluation: Assist in cleaning up after the event, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored. Participate in post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a college degree in hospitality management or related field).
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
