Certified Dental Assistant

As a Certified Dental Assistant, you assist and support the clinical needs of the patients and doctors.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Take dental X-rays
  • Perform digital intraoral scans
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary
  • Collaborate with practice team to ensure the best patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Prior training/schooling as a dental assistant
  • Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or licensure
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Good listener, communication skills with patients
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Rockford, IL 61108: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
