UPM Raflatac is looking for a FLCRM1 Rewind Operator in Mills River, NC who will be responsible for safely operating the rewinder and mobile equipment to run jobs/orders planned to the rewinder to fill customer orders and correct defective material. FLCRM1 Operator will run stock coils to correct/remove defects so coils can be used for customer orders. Welcome to the team! - Joe G Shelton, Material Flow Supervisor What you will do Be responsible for safe operation of rewinder, safe operation of forklift and other mobile equipment Be responsible for thorough inspection of quality defects in material Efficiently operate the rewinder at an acceptable level Be in charge of packing reels on pallets per customer FOM’s and packing plans Be responsible for breaking down/upending and restoring stock and customer reels/pallets Organize and locate stocks, wrap pallets Who you are You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School education and 1-2 years’ work experience in an industrial setting. Previous work experience in paper/paper converting industry or experience working with web-handling equipment desired. Previous Slitting / Finishing of pressure sensitive laminates preferred You are able to work well within a team You have well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability and willingness to apply a systematic approach to the process You are computer-literate.
