Job Posting for Shelter Advocate at 360 Communities

360 Communities is seeking a dedication and compassionate Shelter Advocate to work hours of 1 pm - 11 pm Thursday - Saturday. This is a full-time position with benefit eligibility. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance options, employer matching retirement account and paid vacation, sick and safe time and floating holiday hours.

The Shelter Advocate will work within the shelter house, providing support for residents and families, providing crisis support via a phone crisis line, and maintaining the security, cleanliness and upkeep of the shelter.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence, experience working with a range of diversity and cultures. Related bachelor's degree is a plus.

Pay: $18.80 - $19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
