Vice President of Sales

Overview

This position is responsible for supervising Area Managers and their sales marketing efforts for a specific territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and performance of the sales team.
  • Assist sales team with targeting markets and ensure proper sales tools are used and available.
  • Accompanies sales employees on visits to support, provide feedback and suggestions for areas of opportunity.
  • Conducts monthly meetings with sales individuals and team members.
  • Reviews monthly performance with direct reports and discusses opportunity.
  • Provides reports to upper management on team and goals.
  • Supports sales team by successfully finding, developing, and selling services to new accounts.
  • Assist sales team with expansion and maintaining professional relationships with new and existing customers within designated region.
  • Ensures sales activities are properly executed and reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Assist with prospective leads and identify up sell opportunities.
  • Assist with any potential business opportunities.
  • Ensures sales team is proactively contact leads and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is met and maintained.
  • Conduct business in a professional, ethical, and honest manner at all times.
  • Comfortably present company services with proper decision makers.
  • Answer any questions from prospects and team in a timely manner.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected Ensures that the activities of operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall company protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.  
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in related field preferred.
  • Travel 50% of the time.
  • 5 years healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Must have Health Insurance license.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Sensitive to deadlines and completed reporting in a timely manner.
  • Must be goal oriented, sensitive to deadlines and have a passion to help others.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to problem solve, multi-task.
  • Must have own transportation, good driving record and auto insurance.
