Job Summary:

DAY SHIFT POSITION 7a-7p
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the provision of medical care, administer medications, and ensure the overall well-being of patients.

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and internal medicine examinations
- Provide specialized care for specific patient populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities
- Perform routine procedures including wound care, catheter care, and dressing changes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management

Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in [state]
- Proven experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care facilities
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills for documentation purposes
