Verisk 3E is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team in Carlsbad, CA. As an AR Specialist, you will:
- Primarily be responsible for invoicing, collection and communication with customers regarding late payment, reissuance of invoice, credit memo, refund or any issues for customers.
- Take ownership of providing invoices to the customer via Web submission, email or mail.
- Attend a weekly meetings with sales team and sales support team to resolve any issues for customers and update the status.
- Review and confirm billing information against data entry for all business unit invoicing. Assist with End-of-Month closing process in gathering data, research, etc.
- Be able to multi-task and complete any ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
- Assist with monthly or quarterly work with finance team to estimate bad debt expenses.
- HS Diploma required; Degree preferred in Accounting and/or Business
- 3 years of AR experience
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- PeopleSoft, Oracle or any ERP experiences a plus
- Excellent data entry skills, communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, regulate daily tasks in addition to taking on additional unplanned/special projects assigned on a regular basis; adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Must be very motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must possess strong time management skills
- Detailed oriented
