Bartender/mixologist

We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our team. A bartender on our team will be expected to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations as well as excellent customer service. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities

  • Politely greet and take drink orders from customers.
  • Prepare and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks in a timely manner.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and practice responsible serving.
  • Correctly enter orders into the POS system and handle payment transactions.
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and well organized work area.
  • Stay hospitality focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

Skills

  • Must have TABC and Texas Food Handlers certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous bartending experience.
  • Knowledge of various drinks and/or shot recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Strong costumer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
