Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Posting for Machine Operator - 3rd Shift at 3rd Shift - Hendrickson Careers

·         Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts

·         Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed

·         Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed

·         Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment

·         Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards

·         Exercise safe working habits while operating machines

·         Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator

·         Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities

·         Must possess a high level of attention to details

·         Previous machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, 1-2 yrs.

·         Must be able to read and write legibly

·         Ability to function as an effective team member

·         Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems

·         Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances

·         Ability to perform quality checks using calibrated digital micrometers, Vaneer calipers and go/no go gauges to ensure product is within tolerance
