Key Responsibilities
- Assists Store Manager with daily store management and employee supervision responsibilities;
- Assists Store Manager with facilitating training for all new hires and also provide continual training for existing employees;
- Represents the company in a professional, helpful and friendly manner;
- Assists customers with product inquiries and sales;
- Meets weekly sales & productivity objectives;
- Sells additional products through suggestive selling;
- Pitches monthly sales promotions;
- Captures all necessary information to support or direct mail efforts;
- Assists in inventory control and prevent shrinkage;
- Maintains store cleanliness and order;
- Advises when stock is in low supply;
- Learns product line;
- Attends product training sessions;
- Projects professional image and enthusiastic floor presence;
- Cooperates with management and coworkers;
- Follows company policies and procedures;
- Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality;
- Communicates accurate information;
- Strives to increase personal productivity;
- Responds immediately to customer requests / messages;
- Provides flexibility on shift hours, lunch schedule and overtime requests;
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position directly supervises non-supervisory personnel and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with 4 Wheel Parts policies and applicable laws. Ensures all Company Policies and Procedures are followed.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;

- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes;

- Consumer sales experience in a retail environment;
- Automotive Experience preferred but not required;
- Knowledge of 4-Wheel/Off Road Product is a must;
- Type 45 wpm;
- Walk up to 5 hours without a break; up to 12 hours a day;
- Talk and hear;
- Use hands to finger, handle and/or feel objects, tools or controls;
- Lift up to 50 pounds up to 3 feet and carry for a distance of 500 feet;
- Push up to 25 pounds for a distance of 3 feet;
- Pull up to 25 pounds for a distance of 3 feet;
Frequently required to do the following activities:
- Dynamically stand up to 5 hours without a break; up to 12 hours a day;
- Reach up and out with hands and arms;
- Lift up to 50 pounds up to 4 feet and carry for a distance of 500 feet;
- Operate machinery;
Occasionally required to do the following activities:
- Sit up to 2 hours without a break; up to 8 hours a day;
- Climb stairs and/or ladders;
- Balance;
- Twist upper torso;
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl;
- Lift up to 100 pounds up to 3 feet and carry for a distance of 3 feet;
Rarely required to do the following activities:
- Lift up to more than 100 pounds up to 3 feet and carry for a distance of 3 feet
