Position Summary Digital, Data, Analytics & Technology (DDA&T) segment is focused on making health care more seamless, convenient, and personalized, and driving business agility and growth through technology, data, digital and experiential innovations. ‘Digital First, Technology Forward and Data Driven’ is not simply an aspirational goal for the company, but a prerequisite to accelerated growth. CVS Health is recruiting for a VP, IT Medicare and Individual & Family Plans. This role is responsible for all IT related support and development associated with Aetna’s Medicare and IFP business segments. The Medicare business segment includes Medicare Advantage, Senior Supplemental, and Dual/Special Needs products. This role will align to both SVP of Medicare and SVP of Individual Markets and will be an integrated team member and trusted IT advisor. The breadth of this role is approximately 160 colleagues and 270 contractors supporting 100 applications and platforms. You will make an impact by: • Directing the technical strategy and digital enablement of the business. • Continue to align with our organization strategy and provide leadership for two of the most significant growth segments within HCB. • Enable deep understanding of our business and support designing and executing an IT strategy for our colleagues and clients. Required Qualifications The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following experience / knowledge / ability: • 15 years of technology leadership experience • Knowledge of the healthcare and payer industry and associated technologies • Knowledge of the payer industry and associated technologies • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid industry and associated technologies • Knowledge of SAFE, AGILE, Waterfall delivery methodologies • Ability to measure / metric associated with software delivery and production support of large-scale application suites • Software Delivery • Financial Cost Center Management • Vendor Management at scale • Ability to lead a large-scale delivery organization • Ability to develop and lead IT talent • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Knowledge of Advanced delivery methodologies • Knowledge of AI, Voice, and other leading-edge technologies to advance business • Advanced strategic planning • Digital engagement and adoption • Experience leading transformational programs • Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday) • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
