Since the position includes the legal responsibility for the site, being able to represent the company in a good way is a must. TURNING OPERATOR Normally scheduled Monday through Friday but may require other days as needed. Normally Second shift (2nd) but may require additional hours or other shifts as needed. Configure mechanical part of tooling, wheels and steady rest setup. Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and sequences. Interpret drawings, and/or item attributes and follow routings. Perform in-process inspections according to inspection requirements and protocol. Perform routine operator maintenance as required. Complete all job related documentation and shop floor data collection accurately. Adhere to all aspects of the Quality Management System. Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time. Ability to lift 50lbs. without assistance. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or other member of Management.
