We are currently looking for a new member for the measurement department situated in Brande, DK. How to contribute to our vision As a Measurement Engineer you will play a key role in discovering, qualifying and implementing new measurement technologies to be used in prototype turbines and on prototype component testing. You will be the owner of some measurement technologies e.g. Fiber Optic Measurement and will use your knowledge to support internal projects in qualifying which measurement technology, equipment and methods are best suited for the given need. Your responsibilities will include: Performing vibration measurements in-field on our wind turbines and on part and components in our test and production facilities Planning of the measurements and ensuring that the internal costumers get the results fitting their needs. This include challenging the request in order to ensure the correct methods and tests are applied Delivering results of test by reporting, but also via interaction with the internal costumers in their interpretation of the experimental results Being part of and drive development projects regarding new methods, products and measurement chains Being part of the team and give internal and external support and contribute to strengthen our competences Multi-disciplinary collaborations will include R&D disciplines like Aerodynamics, Solid mechanics, Blade & Rotor Dynamics, Materials, and our Service Department What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for… An individual who are experienced in measurements of dynamic signals, preferably vibrations and/or acoustics. Depending on your level of the experience the responsibilities can be adjusted, we encourage applications from newly educated as-well as persons with senior experience. Relevant education within this field, e.g., Acoustics, mechanical engineering or physics combined with good knowledge of computer languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Java, C#, C/C ) would be considered an advantage. You thrive on performing experimental work related to measurements and have a practical approach to problem solving during experiments. It is preferable if you have knowledge of structural dynamics and modal analysis, alternatively a strong background in signal processing and mathematics. Knowledge with experimental modal analysis, operational modal analysis and operational deflection shapes would be an advantage. As-well as experience with Simcenter test.lab or similar commercial software for experimental modal analysis. As a person you are a flexible and a problem-solver. An open-minded person who is ready to contribute with your skills and ready to develop further within the role.
