The Opportunity Marvell is developing products to protect data, authentication and key management in public/private clouds and large enterprises. We partner with some of the major public cloud providers and make it easy for their customers to protect, secure, and encrypt their data with simple and scalable interfaces in public, private, hybrid cloud environment. As cloud continues to grow at an astounding rate, businesses are constantly facing new threats and breaches. There is a greater need to provide end-to-end, next generation security products. We’ll be solving some of the most interesting challenges while building a product unlike anything seen before. Job Responsibilities: Test and develop automation for payment and General-purpose features of the HSM product Handle and deliver on features independently Develop test plans to test the solutions at various stages of product execution Develop scalable and predictable test automation suite that aids feature velocity Be a technical strong engineer by understanding feature and coming up with multiple test strategies. Interface with the development and evolve test strategies Requirements: Roles and Responsibilities: - Tests LiquidSecurity product to test the firmware component by applying in-depth testing knowledge to find the key issues in the QA cycle by developing the test automation. - Perform various QA practices, concepts and procedures in the test automation development to accomplish Software release testing. Work closely with release testing team and development team to understand the test automation requirements. - Participate in automation framework design and code reviews. - Work on market, customer driven activities and assist in implementing efficient automation testing procedures. Required Skills: - 5 to 8 years of related test automation development experience using Perl and/or Python. - Good hands on developing the automation framework in Linux and Windows Operating Systems. - Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results. - Good hands on experience using automation modules like expect, ssh, telnet, etc into the framework. Using any of open source test automation framework is added advantage (ex: Unittest, Pytest, Robot, etc). - Experience in working with Virtual Machines using KVM and Xen Hypervisors is a big plus. - Knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA procedures and software release cycle. - Fast learner and must have ability to multi-task in a fast paced various QA activities.
