Title: Acquisition Program Manager KBR is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager to join our team. This position supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate, C-130 Hercules Division (AFLCMC/WLN). This is a full-time position located in Warner Robins, GA. The candidate must work well in a high-performance, fast-paced environment, and be assertive in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products. Duties include but are not limited to: Develop ACAT II/III program documentation to support milestone decisions to include: statutory/regulatory documents, acquisition strategies, purchase request documents for contract awards Participate/represent WLNC in the Air Mobility Command CRB and Deputy Program Executive Office briefings for all Mobility and Training Aircraft Center platforms Track programs through the requirements vetting process towards Configuration Control Board (CCB) and facilitate action item reviews Ensure action items are completed per the schedule Conduct and lead Requirements Control Board with senior management levels Adapt to changing priorities and requirements Establish and define program plan requirements and perform in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans Proactively interface and coordinate with stakeholders on the development of plans Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met Provide recommendations on the overall acquisition strategy, to include tailoring of milestone requirements and documentation Apply policies, procedures and best practice processes to support customer Facilitate collaboration among diverse civilian, military and contractor personnel and organizations to identify and resolve customer requests and inquiries BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. In lieu of degree, a minimum eight (8) years of experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects Knowledge of current USAF weapon system management processes, policies, and procedures C-130 or other similar fixed wing or military aircraft experience This position requires a SECRET clearance KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
