Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques - Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Experience: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of healthcare systems and procedures - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines - Experience in patient care, particularly in memory care, is a plus - Ability to cook nutritious meals for patients based on dietary restrictions or preferences Requirements: - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to lift and move patients safely - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and empathetic nature - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules If you have a passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives, we encourage you to apply for the position of Home Health Aide.
