We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, executing product launches, and fostering customer engagement. Working face-to-face with our customers, your strong communication skills, sales acumen, and ability to build relationships will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with customers, identify their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to drive product awareness, encourage trial, and convert customer interest into sales.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets by effectively showcasing the features, benefits, and value of our products.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for satisfactory resolutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to plan and execute successful product launches.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate and generate excitement during launches.
  • Assist in organizing launch events and promotional activities to create buzz and drive customer engagement.
  • Engage proactively with customers to create a welcoming and interactive environment.
  • Build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers to understand their preferences and needs.
  • Initiate conversations, offer product knowledge, and actively seek opportunities to enhance customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of relevant products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and functionality.
  • Provide hands-on experiences to customers, highlighting the unique selling points of our products.
  • Explain technical details in an easy-to-understand manner, addressing customer questions and concerns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales or customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles.
  • Familiarity with product launches and promotional activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Experience level:

  • 1 year

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

  • In-person

  • Newburgh, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
