We are currently seeking a full time, reliable Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses the abilities to work well with their hands and to work independently within a team environment with the common goal to find solutions to produce quality accurate finished products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate technical machines to ensure final products are to product specifications regarding blueprints or shop orders.
- Proficient in the safe operation of standard shop tools.
- Visually inspect parts/pieces as they are being fabricated.
- Ensure functional and aesthetic quality of product.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
- Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working
environment.
- Able to accurately read a variety of measuring devices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Able to accurately read a variety of measuring devices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
- 2 years working with technical blueprints, drawings, or layouts is preferred.
- Experience working with tools is required.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to project needs in completion of one's own responsibilities.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to MIG and TIG weld.
- Prior fabrication operation experience.
- Flexibility to adapt to constant change.
- Must pass Drug/Background check
