Job Title: Machinist (CNC Mills/CNC Lathes)


Location: Fort Collins, CO


Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a full-time Machinist with expertise in operating and setting up CNC Mills or CNC Lathes for a small shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for precision machining, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC Mills or CNC Lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Machinist with a focus on CNC Mills or CNC Lathes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus
