Wine Bar Server

The 530 Wine Bar (located at 530 E. Lexington Avenue on the east side of the River in Elkhart) is seeking enthusiastic and positive experienced servers to join our team! You will be the face the 530 Wine Bar and responsible for creating great customer experiences here. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Interest in wine or wine knowledge is a plus. Must be at least 19 years of age to apply. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant and wine menus and help customers select food and beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions and make recommendations
• Work as a team with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment using Toast

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude

The 530 Wine Bar, located at 530 E. Lexington in Elkhart, Indiana, serves an assortment of delicious menu items to pair with 38 wines by the glass (or 24 options by the ounce), wine flights, over 150 wines by the bottle, and craft beer exclusively from Iechyd Da Brewing Company in Elkhart. The 40-seat wine bar also sells bottles of wine to go.

Pay: From $3.00 per hour
