Our team supporting a U.S. federal civilian agency's security operation center (SOC) is looking for Tier 2 Analysts (Day Shift).
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in the United States and must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (no 1099s or W2 hourly, no exceptions).
The right candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of experience providing technical support, troubleshooting problems, and resolving security related issues.

Job Summary
This is a great remote work opportunity for a Tier-2 Analyst to join a close-knit team supporting a civilian U.S. Federal Government Agency.
This is a fulltime salaried position, no 1099s or W2 hourly. U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required, no exceptions. You must pass a public trust background investigation.
Work is remote; however, team members must live full time in the United States, no exceptions.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced cyber technical support and issue resolution to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex security related issues.
- Log and document all support requests, incidents, and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Mentor and collaborate with Tier-1 analysts to provide guidance and assist with escalations.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier-3 support teams, as needed, and follow-up on issue resolution.
- Provide support services for: research and development, assessments, threat analysis, policy and procedure development, concept definition design, testing, documentation, security analysis, routine and non-routine tasks, communications and reporting, training, technical security control review, identification of vulnerabilities, risk assessments, incident management activities, continuous monitoring, and more.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience and three (3) years in similar or qualifying work.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Addt'l experience may be substituted for degree.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of information security risk analysis.
- Work well in a team environment and able to work independently.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder residing in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
Desired:
- Certifications: CISSP, CSM, ITIL, GCIH
- Familiarity with SOC, FISMA, NIST CSF, or other security frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
- Experience w/Federal Government IT.
- Reside in a U.S. HUBZone: HUBZone Map (sba.gov)

Posted Pay Range
The projected compensation range for this position is: $62,000 - $85,000 (annual USD). The posted range reflects the expected pay range at time of hire, however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for this position, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, certifications, market location, and job-related competencies.
