Banquet Captain

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. THIS POSITION HAS OPPORTUNITY FOR PROMOTION!

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all banquet activities, including set-up, service, and breakdown
- Ensure that all banquet events are executed smoothly and efficiently
- Train and supervise banquet staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality and presentation meet or exceed expectations
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage items
- Monitor inventory levels of banquet supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with interviewing and hiring banquet staff as required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in banquet or event management
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
