What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack JavaScript Engineer position at 540?
540 is looking for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to help improve the visibility and efficiency in the delivery of financial data for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are looking for a startup-minded individual to work within an Agile team focusing on full stack development with JavaScript / Typescript, Node, NestJS and React primarily.
On this project, you will be supporting the development and implementation of several public facing applications that facilitate the sharing of financial information for the FDIC. These applications use modern technologies to gather and display information about banks, their branches and a multitude of financial records. With better standardization across these source systems and services, the public will have better insight into the health of the financial industry with data provided by FDIC.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 4 years of software development experience with JavaScript / Typescript
- 2 years of React or component-based UI framework experience
- 2 years of NodeJS experience
- MaterialUI
- API / data-driven web application experience
- Familiarity with Git repositories
- Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests
- Agile methodologies
- Must have or be able to attain a United States security clearance (Secret level)
- Bachelor's Degree
