What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Aide position at 5Gen Sol?
We are looking to onboard a Nursing Aide. The hire will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed health care professional. Further duties can include taking vital signs, dressing and bathing patients, and reporting patient concerns to doctors and nurses.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a Nursing Aide. Completion of a training program and certification as a nursing assistant/aide is required.
Job Description:
- Work closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure that a patient is provided basic care on a daily basis;
- Bathing, feeding and dressing patients;
- Make the bed and take note of any changes in the physical or emotional state of a patient;
- Taking and Monitoring basic vital signs, such as respiration rate, temperature and blood pressure, are often taken by a certified nurse aide.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated work experience as a Nursing Aide/Assistant (preferred)
- Completion of CNA program.
- Excellent patient handling skills
