▶ About This Opportunity

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting 7-Eleven's Information Technology Compliance operations and providing project mananagement consulting services to support the company's IT initiatives. Responsibilities include project governance to reduce risks for 7-Eleven by leveraging project management principles and tools.

In addition to collaborating with the IT teams, the Project Coordinator will be partnering with Corporate Compliance and business stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure consistent project delivery and alignment of technology approach.

• Support various IT projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to project management standards and are aligned with IT's priorities and strategic goals.
• Coach teams to ensure the project team works together efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and refine IT Compliance templates, tools, standards, and processes.
• Support IT Compliance operations including IT Review Council meetings, onboarding of new project managers, scheduling of project health checks, and others. 
• Identify and document project risks and issues, escalating when appropriate and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
• Analyzing project data, quality of documentation and reports, and producing insights to optimize project performance.
• Collaborate with business owners to drive accountability and adhearance to IT Compliance guidance.
• Build integrated project timelines, including technology dependencies, to ensure all projects are on track.  In addition, ensure that proper risk due diligence is completed consistently. 
• The IT Compliance Project Coordinator will report to IT leadership on a regular basis the status of assigned responsabilities.
• This list is not exhaustive. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for other tasks assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelors/4yr degree

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Years of Management Experience: NA

Certifications/ Licenses: PMP Certification is a plus

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with program, project or product management lifecycles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment across multiple tasks
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the company
• Ability to effectively facilitate meetings of varying size and purpose
• Experience supporting project managers leading large complex initiatives
• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical individuals
• Keen attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and passion for driving results
• Good at building and maintaining strong relationships, using functional knowledge as both advisor and influencer, successfully bridging IT and business, to get buy-in to deliver the needed results
• Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel and other MS Office suite applications
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
• Ability to document new processes, create process diagrams, and training guides
