▶ About This Opportunity
The primary purpose of this Sr Financial analyst is to support Field Operations (US and Canada) and Multiple Corporate Functional areas with forecasts, analysis of financial results through variance analysis to budget / forecast, Monthly Business Reviews, Annual Field Budget, Franchise Fee Pricing Updates/Reviews, FZ Programs Design, and ad hoc research and reporting for the CFO, leadership in Operations and/or Planning.
Responsibilities
- Regularly interact with Field Operations, Zone Vice Presidents and Director of Operations to provide financial support, producing comprehensive monthly / YTD results financial packages that involve comparative analysis of budgets versus current year forecasts/actual results and prior year results.
- Analyzes trends and other relevant information to develop operating assumptions necessary to complete Business Plans, Budgets, and Bi-Monthly Forecasts. This requires gaining a thorough understanding of key business drivers and effective communication of analysis.
- Address or escalate Field Operations inquires as a primary financial liaison to ensure timely, appropriate action / resolution and/or effective interpretation of the financial implications of business activities.
- Lead Franchise Fees Reviews, Annual FZ Programs Designs, and report on overall financial health of FZ financials.
- Build budgets for all US and Canada stores across 100 financial lines for 12 month annual budget process.
- Participate in department initiatives to build / implement new tools for forecasting and budgeting, with direct support to our Facilities and In-House Maintenance Program.
- Participate in Annual Incentive design review and support HR team in incentive exception review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors/4 year Degree in Business or Finance.
- Experience: 4 years of Extensive knowledge of financial modeling and reporting.
- Experience with SQL and PowerBI a plus.
- Requires advanced computer skills using spreadsheet software, familiarity with database applications, downloading data from mainframe systems and use of word processing software.
- Requires ability to draft correspondence that accompanies requests for information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to communicate verbally with senior executives.
- Analysis skills and the ability to solve problems independently is critical.
