Job description
We have an immediate opening for a results-driven Sales Associate with a GREAT and positive attitude. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs and answer their questions about our products, recommending the right solutions. Sales Associates are also responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the store. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product promotions and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards and be willing to work throughout the store during your shift. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals and helping maintain the store in excellent condition. Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on products
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- Follow and achieve store sales goals
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and provide outstanding service
- Maintain the store in-stock and in clean and presentable condition
- Actively seek out customers in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Cross sell products
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Assist with stocking the store and the cooler on a daily basis
- Using the ovens to cook food and drive food sales
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role
- A GREAT attitude
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math skills and cash handling
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
Requirements
- Must have a positive TEAM attitude
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (Stocking Cooler)
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Must be willing to work holidays when needed
- We are open 24 hours a day 365 days per year
