This job involves performing imaging procedures efficiently and safely for a variety of customers, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The responsibilities for this position include: - Conducting imaging exams and procedures accurately, with the use of critical thinking skills when necessary. - Recognizing any emergency situations that may arise and responding appropriately. - Maintaining accurate medical records for all customers, while ensuring that all records remain confidential. - Utilizing imaging and hospital computer systems correctly. - Interacting in a professional manner with physicians, team members, customers, and their families. - Having access to medications that are appropriate for the job duties. - Accepting additional duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals. - Demonstrating proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list. - Maintaining skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list. In terms of compliance, the responsibilities include: - Recognizing and complying with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements related to the area of responsibility. - Understanding and following principles and standards as outlined in North Memorial's Corporate Code of Conduct. - Protecting customer and team member privacy and only accessing customer and/or team member related information as needed to perform job duties. - Reporting any violations or areas of concern to the supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.
