Web Developer

Boutique creative agency looking for a talented web developer. We are looking for someone that is adept in coding, and building & managing websites through technical skill with a sharp attention to detail.

This is an intermediate level position with room for growth, and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with a rhythm and passion for all things web development. This position requires proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), PHP, MySQL and JavaScript (jQuery, Vanilla), and reasonable knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting issues. Candidates should be skilled in managing and sustaining multiple projects at once, and proficient in analyzing, documenting, developing, testing, launching, and maintaining all websites.

Skills

• 3 years of experience building websites.

• Manage and sustain multiple projects at once.

• Build out all approved visual designs and functionality into a cohesive website.

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a quality deliverable to our clients.

• Able to work independently and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Have experience in WordPress development.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), PHP, MySQL and JavaScript (jQuery, Vanilla).

• Experience creating websites with popular WordPress page builders (We use Elementor).

• Experience with site managers such as cPanel, or Plesk.

• Should be good at debugging and troubleshooting issues.

• Ultimately be able to analyze, document, develop, test, launch, and maintain websites.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with migrating websites.

• Knowledge of different web environments such as Centos, Ubuntu, or IIS.

• Experience building custom themes in WordPress.

• Experience creating custom shortcodes or functions in WordPress.

• Experience creating and utilizing custom post types.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
