The job of Housekeeping Supervisor is successfully executed when:
- All day-to-day housekeeping operations are well directed and controlled to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Complies with and enforces health and hygiene standards at the department.
- Ensures that energy and material saving policy is followed and waste generated is recycled.
- Maintains good communication with all colleagues in own team and other departments on matters that may affect in any way the operation of the hotel and the well-being of guests.
Usual job responsibilities are: Supervising the work of housekeeping staff in an efficient manner to ensure that guests and other departments receive prompt and courteous service. Checking hotel suites to ensure that furnishings, fixtures, and equipment are clean and in good condition and, if necessary, that they are replaced. Pay special attention to V.I.P.'s and repeat guests. Coordinate with the other sections of the housekeeping department and other Departments on all relevant matters affecting the appearance of the hotel and the condition of the suites, keep them informed and follow up on outstanding issues. Confirm the state of cleanliness of the room and repair work to be carried out. Monitor the use of cleaning supplies. Oversee cleaning procedures, lost property, and key control.

Requirements
The person we are looking for, must have the following qualities:
- Openminded, EU Citizenship and studies suitable for the position.
- Studies related to hospitality/cooking/tourism, we are looking for a junior profile who is finishing or has finished their studies.
- Focused on service and highly oriented to customer and results.
- Speak Spanish and English. Any other language is considered a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in 5 star/luxury hotels.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Dynamic, innovative, pragmatic.
