Description
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Local Candidates highly encouraged******
- Experience related to job duties may be a plus
- Must be able to read, interpret and follow work instructions and drawings
- Must have experience with basic hand tools
- Ability to learn and use tools and fixtures required for performing specific job duties
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in tube bending, grind, drill, countersink, rivet, and assemble large components
- Perform crating and uncrating of product
- Stack and move products as directed, to facilitate manufacturing work
- Safely handle product always, and ensure own quality of work to include no damage to product
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Read and interpret manufacturing and Bell drawings
- Offer assistance in the kitting department as needed (receiving and stocking parts, building kits per customer orders, printing and labelling kits, operating shrink wrap machine, etc)
- Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to duration of shift
- Ability to kneel, squat, stand, sit, and carry throughout the day
- Ability to wear all protective equipment for task (ex. Protective gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
- Ability to work amidst mild chemical odors such as lacquer thinner, pro-seal and adhesives
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
