EWP Supervisor
Description/Job Summary
We are currently looking to hire an EWP Supervisor to actively work in and oversee all operations of our EWP department. The primary duties of the EWP Lead are to participate in the training and development of our EWP yard associates, will be responsible for EWP inventory control, and overseeing the picking, cutting, load building, and EWP shipping functions at the location. This position will primarily function outside and will be a very hands-on role where the training, leadership, and support of the team is achieved through active daily participation and coaching.
Responsibilities/Duties
Essential Functions
- Oversee and participate in the inventory, cutting, load building, and shipping functions in the store.
- Oversee and participate in the receiving of incoming freight.
- Responsible for inventory control and accurate cycle counts.
- Ability to learn and train each of the roles in our EWP area, provide backup in each as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position involves the direct leadership, training, support, and oversight of employees who pull, cut, and build loads, receive freight or ship product in an outdoor EWP yard; including yard associates.
Work Environment
This position mainly exists in an outdoor environment.
Physical Demands
This can involve standing for long periods of time, working with computers, and talking on the telephone.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 48 hours per week.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
