Financial Analyst
8x8, Inc. The company is experiencing tremendous growth and seeks a highly motivated professional with exceptional analytical and modeling skills to join us as a Financial Analyst. We help senior business leaders frame decisions quantitatively, including investment and strategic priorities.
This is a highly visible and critical role in the organization to partner with members of the finance team and senior leaders to understand and drive the strategic goals of the organization at 8x8 Inc level. This role is located in-person at our Campbell, CA Headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Measure business success through quantitative analytics including actual vs. forecast analytics.
Develop strong business relationships and become a trusted partner to other members of the team
Possess a “can do” attitude and a strong desire to learn about 8x8’s business operations
Contribute to creating the multi-quarter expense forecast for assigned groups.
Partner with accounting to review the monthly close results to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Help mature existing business processes to increase operational efficiency.
Deliver consistent forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities to forecast.
Ability to create financial models that will enhance efficiency within the finance team.
Ability to leverage metrics and trends to help drive informed decisions.
Ability to work independently or within a group
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-5 years of corporate financial analysis experience is desirable.
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or other business-related degree.
Strong finance/accounting and processes background
Highly developed business and financial modeling skills
Strong Excel skills and proficient in other Microsoft office applications
Google Sheets, Docs, Slides proficiency
Excellent analytical, quantitative and organizational skills
Experience with Adaptive Planning and Netsuite preferred but not required
Experience with Salesforce a plus
Prior direct business partnering and financial forecasting/modeling experience in a SaaS desired
