For additional information, visit www.8x8.com, or follow 8x8 on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. 8x8 is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer for Salesforce Custom Applications Development with hands-on experience with APEX Classes, Rest API’s, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, LWC, Batch Apex, and Scheduler.   The Senior Salesforce Developer will be working closely with the Project Managers & the scrum team members for the various project deliverables. This candidate will be responsible for developing mission-critical global systems and software applications. This candidate will actively participate in the sprint planning & grooming scrum ceremonies.   Responsibilities:   ·        Meet with Product Managers to understand functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment ·        Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform. ·        Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform ·        Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for bug fixes and enhancements. ·        Build mission-critical web services and software applications ·        Participate and help drive phases of the software development lifecycle ·        Write well designed, testable, efficient, reusable code ·        Prepare and produce software builds and release management  ·        Investigate and present technology solutions and contribute to software architectural improvements   Required Skills:   ·        4 years of experience working on Salesforce platform  ·        Have minimum certification  “Salesforce certified Platform Developer I” ·        Good experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design and development ·        Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, LWC, SOQL) ·        Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) ·        Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset ·        Must have excellent communications skills and ability to collaborate with peers ·        Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM ·       Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills     Good to Have: ·        Experience with one of the following QtC systems - Apttus CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity ·        Experience with Salesforce deployment tools like Copado, Gearset, etc ·        Experience with Salesforce Community and/or Service Cloud is a plus ·       Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools   8x8 is proud to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
