We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Vice President, Deputy General Counsel – Federal Solutions Parsons is looking for an experienced attorney to join our team! The Vice President, Deputy General Counsel for our Federal Solutions business segment will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer. In this role you will get to provide legal direction and guidance to our Defense & Intelligence and Engineered Systems business units within our Federal Solutions segment. A hybrid work arrangement is available for a Huntsville, Northern Virginia or Maryland candidate. What You’ll be Doing Develop Requests for Equitable Adjustment and Certified Claims Government Accounting Office/Agency Protests and Debriefings FAR, DFAR and agency procurement rule issues Corporate EPR Contract Risk Memos for complex opportunities Freedom of Information Act Responses / Exemption justifications GSA Contractor Team Arrangements Responses to Notices of Concern from US government clients Formation of LLCs Drafting of JV Operating Agreements Strong management and personal communications skills What Qualifications You’ll Bring Juris Doctor degree (JD) and a minimum of 15 years of diversified experience with a minimum of ten years’ experience in US Federal Government contract work Licensed to practice law Strong legal research and writing skills Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US federal government security clearance Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Corporate team. Salary Range: $179,800.00 - $343,700.00 This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
