Benefits Coordinator (Bilingual English/Mandarin)
Benefits Coordinator:
Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager, the Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day to day administration of the Company’s benefit programs. This position maintains benefit documents, communicates benefit information and ensures the benefit programs are compliant with relevant Federal and State law.
Responsibilities:
- Provide new hires with benefits information and guidance on benefit plans and enrollment procedures.
- Ensure enrollments and terminations for corporate and store employees are processed in a timely manner.
- Ensures new hires and terminations information is loaded into all benefits systems accurately.
- Answer employee benefits questions or concerns, including partnering with the Company’s benefits broker to resolve employee issues.
- Reconcile the Company’s monthly billing, including verifying that deductions have been taken out and working with Payroll to address over/underpayments.
- Assist with the Company’s annual open enrollment, including leading benefit presentations for Corporate and Store employees to ensure benefit plan changes are properly communicated.
- Assist with other lines of insurance, including workers’ compensation, property/casualty, and automotive insurance, as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of HR experience is required. Experience with the administration of benefit programs is strongly preferred.
- Must have strong analytical, documentation, and people skills.
- Must have strong phone etiquette skills.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and prioritize projects accordingly.
- Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Location: 6338 Regio Ave., Buena Park, CA 90620
- Work Hours: 9AM - 5:30PM
- Salary: $23-$27.50/hour
The pay range for this job is between $23 and $27.50 per hour. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
