A-1 Exterminators is looking for a full time office administrator to service our valued commercial and residential customers throughout the Wasatch Front. The Office Assistant will contribute to the success of the team by managing the day-to-day operations, including customer relations, scheduling appointments, and identifying new business all while providing exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for someone who is a self starter with a strong attention to detail, initiative, and professionalism. Exceptional people skills are a must. We are excited for you to join our rapidly growing company and be part of a great team. This position will be based in our office in Murray.
Responsibilities will include:
- Point of contact for customer calls and communications including taking incoming calls, providing quotes, and scheduling technician appointments
- Schedule efficient appointment routing maximizing our ability to service our customers
- Maintain customer invoicing and payments as applicable
- Schedule pest control appointments maintaining highest possible standard of customer care
- Follow up with current and past customers as you proactively identify new business opportunities
- Seek out and identify new commercial and residential leads converting into new business
- Maintain pest control inventory keeping it full stocked, clean, and organized
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Maintain and contribute to our incredible reputation
Skills necessary to be successful:
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail, organized, and customer service minded
- Strong work ethic and a “hands-on” mentality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience with software programs such as Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook and Excel) and Google
- Prior office or administrative experience required
- Prior inside sales experience preferred
Qualifications required:
- High school diploma or associate’s degree
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Trustworthy
- Interested in working at a growing, independent company
- Ability to run errands and maintain needs of the office.
