We are looking for a skilled Steel Rule Die Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be experienced in 2pt, 3pt and some 4pt building of cutting dies. Must have knowledge of Auto-benders and some hand bending of rule. The successful candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Follow blueprints and engineering specifications to determine the correct dimensions and tolerance for each piece.
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
- Inspect finished workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
