A&A Safety, Inc. is an industry leader in pavement marking/line striping with locations throughout Ohio and projects in multiple states.

The Company currently has openings for experienced, dependable, energetic, highly motivated, hard-working team members with a positive attitude and strong work ethic  Experience working in a construction environment is a must - heavy/highway or pavement marking preferred.

A&A pays prevailing wage (currently $32.79 per hour) on all highway projects, as well as $11.35 per hour to fund training, education,  pension and health insurance benefits. Overtime pay (for hours over 40 per week) at $49.19 per hour is available.

 JOB DUTIES:

  • Layout and install pavement markings on roadways and highways.
  • Track and record material quantities on each project.
  • Perform traffic control - lane closures, mobile lane closures.
  • Operate and maintain various types of pavement marking equipment and trucks.
  • Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Shifts include long days, most weekends, travel, and many nights
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Commercial driver's license with experiencing driving commercial vehicles is preferred, but not required
    • A&A will train the right person with experience and a great work ethic to obtain a commercial driver's license. 
  • Membership in Laborer's union (may join after being hired)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • ATSSA certification(s) are a plus but not required
