ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assembles building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses and / or millwork products such as doors, windows, cabinets, counters, vanities or closets.
Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES · Possesses the physical strength necessary to lift heavy objects · Can maintain the stamina needed for long hours of physical labor.
- Works well with a team. · Proven assembly experience · Knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble building materials · Team player with organizational skills · Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Exhibits effective communication skills · Pays close attention to detail, to avoid assembly errors · Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT Shift is Monday through Friday 6am - 2 : 30pm. Also mandatory OT Saturdays 6am - 12noon Must have steel or composite shoes The position involves a significant amount of physical labor Dress code is jeans and t shirt EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED is required.
